Artist 3-Day Retreat

Your 1-2-1 "artist retreat" is an opportunity to totally displace yourself from your usual responsibilities and obligations for a few days to focus on your art, your art style and your art development.

The 3-day residential experience is in the heart of the medieval town of Tewkesbury, where the rivers Avon and Severn meet.  Tewkesbury is steeped in history from the 7th century. Nearby are the beautiful Cotswold villages and the famous Cheltenham town and Race Course.

Your accommodation for the 3-days is at the "The Little Loft".  Just a 2 minute walk from The Loft Studio, and close to Tewkesbury Abbey, shops, pubs, restaurants and riverside walks.  It comprises of a mini studio (you are welcome to use the equipment and materials) / living room, kitchen, bathroom and a double bedroom.  Should you want to invite your partner to stay with you in the accommodation, you are very welcome to do so.

You'll also discover an "Inspire Me" kit awaiting your arrival, which will include a beautiful sketch pad, my favourite art business book, my favourite paint brushes and a few local treats too.

During the retreat you will have both studio painting and business planning sessions, making it a hands-on approach to your creative business development.

You are welcome to arrive the night before to settle into your accommodation and get some rest from travelling before your studio work begins.  Each day will start at 10am and finish at 4pm.

On booking, you'll receive a link to a questionnaire which will ask for your retreat date preferences and gather information about your goals for the 3-days working together, so I can tailor the experience uniquely for you.

As well as painting together here e a few examples of the areas where I can help as part of this experience:

  • Professional career development
  • Feedback on your works-in-progress
  • Bust through your creative blocks and master the creative process
  • Business and marketing skills including web and social media
  • Art style development / expressing you in your art
  • Painting techniques
  • Colour palette development
  • Photographing your artwork
  • Creating an art work inventory
  • Protecting your intellectual property
  • Professionalism as an artist
  • Working in a series
  • Experimenting to develop your ideas

I look forward to working with you.
