I've always been inspired by the INXS lyrics "we all have wings but some of us don't know how to fly" so much so it's sneaked into many of my paintings, sketches and illustrations
Sit with me
I often think it's a phrase, a lyric or a well crafted sentiment that inspires my work. I keep a journal of snippets of sentences or overheard conversations. These often work as prompts for work to begin
