A proud peacock stands at the edge of something unseen — the keeper of stories, secrets, and doorways long forgotten.

Key to the Castle plays with the idea of threshold and guardianship. The peacock, often a symbol of beauty and confidence, here takes on a quieter role: watchful, poised, and possibly waiting for you. Scattered at its feet are a trail of keys — real or imagined — hinting at hidden rooms, long-lost memories, or something precious yet to be discovered.

Painted in layered washes, soft textures, and flashes of gold, this piece invites you to slow down and listen for what’s not being said. A gentle mix of wildness and wonder, rooted in the everyday magic of overlooked things.
