In this 2-hour session, we’ll explore how collage and mixed media can bring personality into our work. Using a combination of painted papers, textured surfaces, drawing materials, and layered details, you’ll create your own illustrated scene.

There will be prompts and guidance throughout, but plenty of space for your own interpretation whether you lean into seaside nostalgia, humour, or something a little more unexpected.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a finished mixed media artwork and a set of techniques you can take into your own practice.

No experience needed, just a willingness to play, layer, and see what emerges.
